Networking events need to start embracing digital business cards. Rather than attendees supplying their own, we’re seeing more and more events supplying branded digital networking tools.

Since COVID, printed business cards have become a thing of the past.

Digital cards allow attendees to quickly create and share their details, eliminating the need for printing and reducing waste. In fact, according to a recent survey, approximately 88% of paper business cards printed end up being thrown away within a week.

As well as the obvious ESG and CSR benefits of digital business cards, digital business cards (including Wing products) can also be branded to the event. Once attendees leave, their phone becomes a branded billboard for you the next time they go into work.

Networking events need to start using digital business cards instead of traditional paper cards - it's a more practical, efficient, and environmentally friendly solution for everyone involved.

If you're running a networking event, consider making the switch to digital business cards, and pave the way towards a more sustainable future.
